What a way to start the new year!

Babishai will launch Beverley Nambozo Nsengiyunva’s second poetry collection titled, ‘Dress me in Disobedience,’ on 2 January 2022. This poetry speaks volumes about the need for us to redefine our spaces, challenge stereotypes, and create wealth and win. Prof. Kwame Dawes of African Poetry Book Fund, Award-winning playwright Bode Asiyanbi, Auhor of A Nation in Labour, Ber Anena, and Prof. Graham Mort, each had raving reviews to make.

There are years when the collection was on hold, and in 2021, Beverley revisited it, let it morph, until it was ready. Thanks to the Kuonyesha Art Fund for the grant, ‘Dress me In Disobedience,’ is a riveting collection of poems that will make you praise, ponder, and pawn.

Join us for the official launch on 2 January, 2022 at 1800h EAT on the Babishai Niwe Poetry Foundation Facebook page. Copies will be sold at 30,000 UGX or 9USD and will also be available on Amazon. It’s a 2022 collection. Let’s win!
